Business Development Associate
About
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to grow our corporate mobility business and expand Splitride, our shared mobility and taxi-pooling product. The role involves identifying opportunities, building corporate relationships, and converting discussions into transportation contracts and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach corporates with a minimum employee strength of 200.
- Meet corporate decision-makers to understand their existing employee transportation arrangements, challenges, and requirements.
- Engage companies without employee transportation services, propose suitable mobility solutions, and secure contracts.
- Develop creative ideas to grow Splitride by identifying hotspots where employees and other commuters have scheduled, recurring travel needs.
- Identify companies establishing new offices or hubs in Hyderabad and explore employee transportation opportunities early.
- Build relationships with facilities, administration, HR, and procurement teams to explore business collaborations.
- Prepare proposals, coordinate pricing discussions with internal teams, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
- Maintain a sales pipeline, follow up consistently, and track progress against business development targets.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from contract signing to service launch.
Requirements
- Prior experience in business development or sales.
- Experience in corporate mobility, employee transportation, or another mobility sector is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to propose practical solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach to prospecting, follow-ups, and achieving targets.
- Willingness to travel within Hyderabad for corporate meetings and opportunity development.
